In addition to books and DVDs, the library is able to offer other content not found in most public and private libraries, which includes an online index to articles on lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender issues called LGBT Life. The index includes many full text articles from periodicals such as The Advocate, Lesbian News, Washington Blade, and Bay Area Reporter.
